Vietnam, Poland step up defence ties

(Bqp.vn) - Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien hosted a reception in Hanoi on January 16 for Colonel Jaroslaw Bondalski, newly-appointed Polish Defence Attaché to Vietnam.

(Bqp.vn) - Vietnam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 1 and Level-2 Field Hospital (L2FH) Rotation 4 left Hanoi on April 27 for UN peacekeeping missions in Abyei and South Sudan. President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Chairman of the Defence - Security Council and Commander-in-chief of the People’s Armed Forces attended the deployment ceremony. Defence Minister General Phan Van Giang chaired the event.
