Vietnam helps Laos respond to COVID-19 pandemic
(Bqp.vn) - The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence held a ceremony to give medical supplies to the Lao Ministry of Defence in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic on May 3.

In order to help the Lao People’s Army fight against the pandemic, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence gave medical supplies, and at the same time sent four medical experts to the Lao Ministry of Defence for COVID-19 prevention and control. This activity aims to continue improving the special solidarity between the two People and the two People’s Army, contributing to promoting cooperation and development of the relation between Vietnam and Laos.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence presented a batch of medical supplies to the Lao Ministry of Defence, including 5,000 masks, 500 kg of Cloramin B, 5,000 sets of protective suits, 1,000 bottles of sanitisers, 1,000 sets of quick test kits, etc. worth nearly 3 billion VND.
