Incense offerings to General Vo Nguyen Giap

(Bqp.vn) - Minister of the National Defence General Phung Quang Thanh on December 16th offered incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap at 30 Hoang Dieu, Hanoi, on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 25th anniversary of the Whole People Defence Festival.

(Bqp.vn) - The Vietnam Museum of Military History on December 16th opened an exhibition, “The Heroic Army-Victorious Tradition”, in Hanoi, in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and 25th anniversary of Whole People’s Defence Festive Day. (Bqp.vn) - The unarmed fighting martial arts maneuver of the whole army in 2014 has entered the 4th day of competition until the date of 15/12/2014. So far, 12 athletes to the semifinals has been identified. By the end of the 4th day of competition, 204 matches of total 334 of the tournament have been finished. According to the Organizing Committee as deep into the tournament, the matches have become more dramatic, compelling and highly professional. (Bqp.vn) - In the 24th AARM which is being held in Mieu Mon, the ASEAN shooting contigents not only take part in all shooting competions but also share their thoughts with each other by the AARM’s official song. This song has been used for all of AARM, but in Mieu Mon it carries a special theme “Unity-Friendship-Understanding-Mutual Study”.
