(Bqp.vn) - Politburo member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Dinh The Huynh congratulated doctors and medical staff during his tours at the Hanoi Medical University’s Hospital, K Hospital and the Central Acupuncture Hospital on February 25.

Politburo member Huynh, who is also Head of the PCC Commission for Communication and Education, sounded the outcomes gained by staff and teachers of the Hanoi Medical University over the past years, calling it a cradle of the country’s medical training.
He also asked the management board of the university’s hospital to ensure it is a place to gain practical experience for young and newly-graduated medical students.
During his visit to the Central Acupuncture Hospital, the Party official valued the staff’s efforts in promoting the country’s traditional treatment method of acupuncture.
He urged them to apply modern and scientific technology in providing check-ups and treatment.
While working with leaders of the Vietnam national cancer hospital, locally known as K Hospital, Politburo member Huynh requested the medical care providers there to uphold their medical ethics and to devote themselves to serving the patients.
He further requested that the hospital increase public awareness raising communications on the prevention and fight against the fatal disease.
