(Bqp.vn) - On February 15, a delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence led by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army inspected the preparation work for ADMM Retreat at the Vietnam Military History Museum.

Speaking at the working session, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong emphasized that the ADMM Retreat is one of the major defence-military activities of the ASEAN, to be hosted by the ministry this year as Vietnam is serving as the ASEAN Chair for 2020. He asked the agencies to stand ready to deal with incidents emerging before, during and after the event.

Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong also requested the Vietnam Military History Museum to focus on preparing the content to help delegations to have better understanding of the history, the establish and the development of the Vietnam People’s Army.
