Quang Binh border guards honoured with Fatherland Protection Order
(Bqp.vn) - The Quang Binh provincial High Command of Border Guards held a ceremony on March 1st , to receive the Fatherland Protection Order, first class and to mark the 55th Border Soldiers Day (March 3) as well as the 25th Whole People’s Border Day (February 28).

The provincial High Command has significantly contributed to protecting the nation’s sovereignty as well as to the fight against drug trafficking and human trafficking in the west of the province.
The provincial border guards also help to improve operational quality of the political system in the province.
Since 2008, the provincial High Command of Border Guards has built 258 ‘great solidarity homes’ worth a total of VND10 billion (US$473,000) for ethnic people and the Lang Ho cultural village worth VND3 billion (US$143,000). They have also built medical stations and implemented clean water projects.
On the occasion, Lang Ho border post in Le Thuy district and Ca Xeng border post in Minh Hoa district was also presented the third-class Labour Orders.
