ADAF kicks off competition for regiment-level command officers
(Bqp.vn) - The Air Defense and Air Force Service (ADAF) of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) opened a competition for commanders and political commissars at the regimental and brigade levels in 2016. The event was attended by its Commander, Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh; Political Commissar, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Thanh; and Maj. Gen. Nguyen Khac Hat, Deputy Head of the Department of Military Training under the General Staff.

Accordingly, 42 commanders will compete in military subjects, such as tactics, training, line-up regulations, shooting, politics, logistics and technical assurance while the other 42 political commissars will also have to compete in the Party and political work and part of military subjects during the four-day event.
Addressing the opening ceremony, General Vinh said that the competition aims to evaluate its commanders and political commissars' professionalism, contributing to improving their capabilities to undertake any missions in the time to come. In addition, he urged the jury and the organizers to grasp the set plan to well organize the event while asking the competitors to follow regulations and strive for the best results.
