Dutch PM Mark Rutte to visit Vietnam
(Bqp.vn) - Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte will pay an official visit to Vietnam on June 16 and 17 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The visit aims to further strengthen diplomatic and economic relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam.
The discussion is expected to focus on the Netherlands’ strengths, including climate change and water management, agriculture, marine-based economy, oil and gas, energy, and logistics.
The signing of an agriculture and food security partnership agreement is expected during the visit.
Both sides will look to realise a strategic partnership agreement on climate change adaptation and water management.
Dutch companies will also meet with Vietnamese partners to discuss the scope of their co-operation and to sign business deals.
The Dutch leader will be accompanied by Minister for Agriculture Sharon Dijksma, Ambassador to Vietnam Joop Scheffers, and advisor to Dutch PM on foreign policy and defence Jack Twiss Quarles van Ufford.
