Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong received India’s Signal Officer-in-Chief and Colonel Commandant
(Bqp.vn) - On Monday afternoon, Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Deputy Chief of General Staff received Lieutenant General Nitin Kumar Kohli, Signal Officer-in-Chief and Colonel Commandant, Corps of Signals on his working visit to Vietnam.

At the reception, Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong affirmed that India-Vietnam defense cooperation has developed on many fields, especially after the bileteral Memorandum of Defense Cooperation was signed in 2009, appreciated the visiting results of the delegation of India’s Corps of Signal led by Lieutenant General Nitin Kumar Kohli; hoped that India’s Corps of Signal would help Vietnam to modernize the signal branch. Lieutnant General Be Xuan Truong believed that the delegation visit would contribute to build the friendship relations, mutual belief between the signal forces and the two Armies.
Lieutenant General Nitin Kumar Kohli thanked Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong and the VPA General Staff for the reception and affirmed that India would send its signal experts to teach in University of Military Signals in Vietnam, considering this mission the embodiment of the bilateral Memorandum of Defense Cooperation between the two countries.
