Vietnamese sappers trained with IMAS EOD
(Bqp.vn) - Ten Vietnamese sappers have completed the training course on International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Level 1 and 2 with good results.

The course was organized from June 9th to July 11th at the Advanced Technology Training Centre of Golden West Humanitarian Organization in the Cambodian province of Kampong Chhnang. The ceremony to grant certificates to the trainees took place on the afternoon of July 13th in Hanoi.
The trainees with certificates are eligible to attend the third level training course to be held next year.
Getting an IMAS EOD certificate is one of the conditions to take part in mine action activities in the framework of United Nations peacekeeping forces’ activities.
