ActionsThe Army’s photo contest launched
(Bqp.vn) - The General Political Department, under the direction of its deputy director Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, on March 5th launched a photo contest with the theme of “The Army with missions of environmental protection and minimisation of climate change”.

The contest is to raise awareness and responsibility of all officers and soldiers in the Army in protecting the environment and minimising climate change in the areas where their units are stationed. The contest is open to all army staffs, professional and non-professional photographers across the country.
The entries must be taken from 2013 and have not been showcased in any exhibitions. Besides, they should reflect the Army’s activities involving in environmental protection and minimisation of climate change, such as response to environmental incidents, economical use of natural resources, reduction of bad elements to health, and science and technology-related applications in environmental protection.
The best photos will be selected for an exhibition at the meeting in response to the World Environment Day on June 5th, held by the Ministry of National Defence at the Army Academy.
The awards ceremony will be held on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army this December in Hanoi.
