Units asked to promote practising for the coming parade

(Bqp.vn) - Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, on May 1st chaired a meeting to review results of the joint rehearsal for the parade at the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Having been briefed on the participating units’ training results, general Khanh praised their efforts in overcoming difficulties in training and asked them to practice more for the parade showing the solemnity and strength of the army, making contributions to ensuring the success of the celebration.

The general requested organs to carefully inspect the preparations for the big celebration and units to ensure good health for participating troops.

As scheduled, the dress rehearsal of the parade is to take place on May 5th at the Dien Bien provincial Stadium in Muong Thanh precinct, Dien Bien Phu City.
