(Bqp.vn) - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has requested the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board to strengthen security and improve the landscaping at the memorial space dedicated to the beloved nation’s leader.

At a working session with the Management Board on March 5th, Phuc praised the efforts of officers and soldiers safeguarding Uncle Ho’s remains and ensuring security at the site. He urged the team to promote long-term conversation and protection of Uncle Ho’s resting place.
Surveying the facilities and roads around the area, Deputy PM Phuc affirmed the need to expand the space, better the landscaping and to upgrade security fences around the mausoleum. He asked the Management Board to carry out regular training and enhance collaboration with police and army forces in fire prevention and security at the site, as well as Ba Dinh Square, National Assembly Building, Bac Son Square and Martyrs' Monument.
He agreed with the Board’s recommendations on planning more pedestrian roads and improving other support facilities to facilitate visitors who come to the site to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
Hanoi authorities and related ministries and agencies were urged to ensure traffic safety and smooth transportation around the monument.
