ActionsCycling organizers pay tribute to Uncle Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap
(Bqp.vn) - A delegation of the organizers of the cycling tournament, “To Dien Bien Phu 2014” - the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) Cup on April 30th offered incenses for President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap,heroes and martyrs in Hanoi.

At the D68 House in the Presidential Palace, where Uncle Ho lived during his last days, the delegation, led by the PAN’s Editor-in-Chief Lieutenant General Le Phuc Nguyen, the head of the tourney’s organizers, reported to the President the target and meaning of the tournament.
Later on, the delegation laid wreath at the Monument for Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street. They expressed a token of gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom.
At the Late General Vo Nguyen Giap’s residence at 30 Hoang Dieu Street, Lieutenant General Le Phuc Nguyen laid stress on the historical Dien Bien Phu Victory which was greatly contributed by Vietnamese troops and people under the sound leadership of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, the Politburo and the Central Military Commission. Before the altar for the general, on behalf of the organizers, Lieutenant General Le Phuc Nguyen promised to do their utmost to make the tourney a success to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
The week-long tournament will start on May 1st with the first stage in Hanoi.
