Seminar refreshes memories of Uncle Ho in Northwest

(Bqp.vn) - Historical witnesses in Son La province shared their memories about the beloved President Ho Chi Minh at a seminar entitled ‘Uncle Ho and Son La province’ on April 25.

Participants at the seminar reviewed Uncle Ho’s visits to Son La and the Northwest region, as well as his talks with the locals there.

They agreed that the President’s speeches made a deep impression on the residents, encouraging them to promote the country’s revolutionary tradition.

The same day, a workshop entitled ‘Improving quality of artwork encouraging people to study and follow President Ho’s moral example’ took place in Son La city. The event gathered representatives from the literature and arts associations of 10 northern provinces including Son La, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Bac Giang and Hai Duong.

The delegates reached a consensus that the artworks should embrace the breath of life while truthfully reflecting the modest but noble life of the nation’s beloved leader and his ideology.
